On Saturday February 25th, amid the Oscar buzz, the Vancouver development community gathered to recognize a different set of awards – The Georgie Awards.
The Georgie Awards celebrate outstanding projects and achievements throughout the development community. As summarized on the Georgie website:
‘The Georgie Awards, owned by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC), is Canada’s premier housing awards program that highlights and celebrates excellence in homebuilding. The Awards are provincial in scope and aim to showcase the commitment and dedication to the high standards that CHBA BC member companies strive to uphold. A Georgie Award is recognized as an industry stamp of quality. Award entries are at a record high, and the calibre of projects is a testament to the talents and efforts of CHBA BC members.’ - The Georgie Awards Website
On Saturday evening, our Boffo Family of Companies team was honoured to attend the Georgie Awards on behalf of our recent townhouse project – TowneWalk. TowneWalk was a finalist in the Best Townhouse Development Category. Among our competitors, Terra Verde by Abstract Developments, Seven35 by Adera Development Corp., Lumina by Maskeen Development, and Kitswater by Censorio Development Corp. While honoured to be included among such great projects and developers, we’re happy to say that Seven35 by Adera took home the gold Georgie.
