Each year our Boffo team gathers (through a combination of in person and virtually) for our annual Innovation Meeting. We make sure to dedicate time each year to focus on how we can continually strive to do things different and better. We focus on four types of innovation, Routine, Radical, Disruptive and Architectural and use this helpful piece from the Harvard Business Review to guide the framework for our creative thinking processes.
Each department comes prepared with a few ideas to share (and we always kick off the event in some creative way – and let’s just say we’re not all that talented when it comes to drawing over here!)
With food, laughter and open minds, we chat about the next year and how we can continue to focus on innovation. It helps keep us connected and driven towards our goal of building great neighbourhoods, together.
